Role and Responsibilities:

As a Junior Research Associate, you will play a vital role in executing genomics research projects, expanding your skill set, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting senior researchers in conducting experiments related to genomics, DNA sequencing, and molecular biology.
Participating in sample collection, DNA extraction, genotyping, sequencing and quality control processes.
Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including sequencers, PCR machines, and other analytical instruments.
Analyzing experimental data, recording results, and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
Collaborating with colleagues to optimize protocols and methodologies for research purposes.
Contributing to team meetings and discussions on research progress.
Staying updated with the latest advancements in genomics and molecular biology.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Solid foundation in genomics and molecular biology techniques.
Practical experience in DNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, and other laboratory procedures.
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining precise records.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to challenges.
