Education Requirement:

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience as TamilNadu/ South-Indian specialist chef, or chef is required.
At least 2 years of experience in the commercial food preparation field, including at least two years in a management/ supervisory role.

Responsibilities:

Develop and curate menus ensuring that all food consistently meets our TamilNadu/ South-indian cuisine speciality and stringent quality standards.
Plan and direct the TamilNadu/ South-indian food preparation for other Chefs/ Cooks.
If there is a Catering or Wedding, Banquet Order, coordinate with clients to create customized menus ensuring their specific preferences and dietary needs are met.
Must estimate the food quantity, the associated food and labor costs to optimize resource allocation and budgeting.
Supervise and provide guidance to specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks, ensuring their adherence to our recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation techniques.
Facilitate equipment purchases and coordinate repairs as necessary to maintain a well-functioning and efficient kitchen operation.
Recruit, hire, and train culinary staff, ensuring that the team is skilled, knowledgeable, and capable of meeting our high standards.
Occasionally prepare and cook food on a regular basis or as and when needed.
