Ping DSP Inc.(www.pingdsp.com), well known for its world leading underwater surveying and 3D imaging sonar products, is seeking a Technical Sales person within Canada to play a key role in growing the company. The ideal candidate will have experience in using sonar systems for seabed mapping (hydrography) or environmental surveying, together with experience in sales or a keen affinity for business development.
The position will be full-time with a 4 month trial period and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Duties:
- Generate and follow-up sales leads on a daily basis
- Create and manage social media presence
- Help generate promotional marketing materials
- Attend trade shows in North America and internationally (occasionally)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience with sonar for seabed mapping or environmental surveying
- Experience in sales or a keen interest in business development
- Well acquainted in using social media for business
- Excellent organizational skills
- High integrity, self-motivated, fast learner of new technology, self -motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills (english)
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from a University or a College Diploma
- Canadian citizen or landed immigrant able to work in Canada
- Able to relocate to Victoria, BC
