Choquette-CKS inc and Heritage Food Service Group Canada are currently looking for 2 additional team members to join the National Purchasing team already in place. Those selected must have excellent English / French fluency since they communicate daily with colleagues elsewhere in Canada as well as with multiple manufacturers and business partners.


The Purchasing Coordinator is an important part of the supply chain process. This individual contributes to the success of the organization by driving service excellence by working with manufacturers to reduce discrepancies in parts, producing reports, and tracking parts, and does so accurately, quickly, and cost-effectively. This position has major impact on customers' satisfaction because it directly affects the speed and quality of service, both in terms of parts delivery to end users, and in contributing to the Service Technicians' first-time fix rates.

Duties and Core Responsibilities

  • Manages the relationship with manufacturers to resolve parts shortages, damages and other issues that arise.
  • Processes part returns to manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Processes replenishment within authority.
  • Processes relevant inventory reports.
  • Updates system with relevant tracking information

Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications)

  • High school graduation required.
  • Formal education in Purchasing, Inventory Management, or other relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a directly related field.
  • Experience with a current ERP system an asset.
  • Current WHMIS certification required.
