Founded in 1991, Lucullus Pastries Inc. (dba “Lucullus Bakery”) has been serving Hong-Kong style Chinese pastries and baked goods through its stores all across the GTA. We are looking for a Store Manager to manage the operations of our Richmond Hill store. The Store Manager plays a vital role in dealing with customers, helping to grow store sales and brand awareness. The role is also responsible for coaching, developing, and leading the team to create a positive and enjoyable workplace and for maintaining a clean and safe store environment.


  • Manage store retail operations including customer satisfaction, sales, budgets, team management and overall financial performance 
  • Execute Lucullus Bakery’s business strategy to maximize sales and profitability
  • Implement Lucullus Bakery’s policies and procedures including health and safety, compliance with COVID-19 measures, food safety and loss prevention, etc.
  • Establish and develop work procedures to maximize efficiency of store operations
  • Recruit and coach team members, and manage them to ensure engagement, productivity, safety, superior customer service and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee ordering, purchasing and inventory control within budget, and authorize payments
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, research seasonal products and implement marketing strategies to promote new products, review and address customer feedback to improve customer service
  • Report to senior management on store operation matters, and recommend improvements
  • Complete other managerial duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business


  • High school diploma is mandatory. Post-secondary diploma/degree in business administration or related fields is an asset.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as Store Manager or in a similar role in retail bakery or similar industry, with a solid understanding of product knowledge
  • Strong market awareness and knowledge of financial management skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills
  • A capable people manager and leader with proven experience in recruitment and selection, retention, and staff development
  • Required to work on weekends, evenings and holidays
  • English reading, written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency in Chinese is a strong asset

$38.00 - $41.00 per hour based on experience and skills
