We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our team at our office conveniently located in Downtown Vancouver. As Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and testing computer hardware, software, circuits, chips, keyboards, and other components. 

We provide a great environment to learn and develop new technology in a small team setting. We welcome creative ideas to enhance everyday interactions. As a Hardware Engineer , you will play a key role in supervising product installation, production, and manufacturing. 

Responsibilities

Here are some of the things you’ll be doing as a Hardware Engineer:

  • Select and source sensors, readers, power supplies, converters/inverters, PBCAs, and other components 
  • Analyze and solve problems with prototype PCBs
  • Perform EMI and EMC testing on prototypes 
  • Optimize power, analog, digital, and mixed circuit designs 
  • Create software to test electronic components and systems 
  • Collaborate with others on R&D programs and innovations 

Core Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Good technical writing and communication skills
  • Experience working with electronics circuits (digital and analog)
  • Experience writing code [insert desired coding language here] 
  • Good understanding of physics and mathematics
  • Strong multi-tasking skills 

Nice-to-Haves

Special consideration will be given to candidates with: 

  • Master’s degree in Engineering
