We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer co-op student to join our team at our office conveniently located in Downtown Vancouver (occasional travel may be required). We will provide coaching to complement your strong understanding of software and hardware systems.

We provide a great environment to learn and develop new technology in a small team setting. We welcome creative ideas to enhance everyday interactions. You will be able to showcase your talent by translating your knowledge directly into our projects and products.


Here are some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Form engineering systems to mechanize industrial tasks
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses regarding the feasibility and performance of new mechatronic equipment
  • Upgrade devices by adding mechatronic fundamentals
  • Design mechatronics components for computer-controlled products
  • Develop testing and final product hardware and software
  • Create graphical designs for mechanical equipment
  • Support R&D innovations
  • Design electronics, PCBs, electronic circuits and machinery
  • Maintain technical files, operational documents, and record systems

Core Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Knowledge in computer-aided software programs and hardware
  • Knowledge in electronics engineering programs (analog and digital)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
