Job Duties:

  • Greet visitors and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Answer phone calls and relay phone calls or messages to appropriate personnel
  • Make decisions on handling incoming formation; ensure all information reaches the responsible staff in a timely manner
  • Respond to emails of general requests; prepare and proofread documents, including reports, presentations, memos and correspondence
  • Maintain general office documents, equipment, tools and other supplies, track the stocks of office supplies and place orders when needed.
  • Coordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
  • Coordinate and schedule appointment; organize meetings
  • Make reservations and schedule travel plans; book flights and arrange accommodations 
  • Deal with multiple deadlines effectively and handle stressful situations
  • Assist in recruiting and training new staff
  • May conduct other duties typically related to the role of an administrative assistant


  • Minimum 1-year administrative experience is a must
  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Willingness to be in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Work Location: 4500 Kingsway Suite 2601, Burnaby BC

Wages & Hours: $25/hour   40 hours/week
