Job Title:

Pipelayer/Pipelayer Helper

GIO Contracting is a construction company based in Toronto (Steeles Ave / Weston Rd) specializing in Watermain and Sewer seeking Pipelayers and Pipelayer Helpers.

Position Summary

Responsible for assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for water mains, storm and sanitation sewers.

Responsibilities

• Configure pipe routes.
• Lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
• Align pipes in pipeline sections.
• Seal joints.
• Cover pipes.
• Work under Foreman supervision.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Pipelayer/Pipelayer Helper in Watermain and Sewer Industry is a MUST
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment
• Must have own vehicle
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
