IT System Consultant

Our company is currently seeking a full time IT System Consultant to work with our team on our various projects including system design and implementation, bug fixes, software implementation, IT support, and other duties that assist clients with their business solutions.

Compensation: $35 / Hour

Schedule: 35 Hours per week

Type of Employment: Fulltime

Location: 107-3728 North Fraser Way, Burnaby, BC

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, software engineering or a related field
• Three years or more professional experience in IT field
• Proficient with JAVA, Python, C, C++, SQL
• Experience working with UNIX, Windows, and other OS

Job Duties:

• Work with clients and support team to identify business needs and provide solutions
• Design, develop, and integrate IT system and software per client needs
• Assist with troubleshooting and technical needs
• Provide advice on policy, procedure, and implementation
• Hardware and software assessment
• Identify system risks and vulnerabilities and develop solution to the issues
• Assess different platforms, OS, and software for efficiency and quality and make adjustments if needed
• Compile reports for management and clients
