As a Food Service Supervisor, the incumbent will work closely with the restaurant management and will also train other food service employees in the areas of customer service & complaints resolution as well as adherence to restaurant policies &

Salary: $14.50/hour

Job Description:

  • Supervise & oversee the activities of kitchen & food serving staff
  • Planning & scheduling restaurant staff & ensure adequate coverage to meet business needs
  • Working on & estimating weekly sales and order food ingredients, supplies & beverages for the restaurant accordingly
  • Ensure safe preparation of food & beverages in the restaurant
  • Train staff members in best practices while further developing their service skills
  • Oversee and respond to customer concerns & provide meaningful resolution to customer queries and/or complaints
  • Assist customers with selection of food ingredients & sauces, recommending great tasting as well as healthy items
  • Maintain monthly sales reports as well as reports pertaining to weekly, semi-monthly & monthly restaurant sales
  • Maintain monthly restaurant purchase reports and also keep track of food & supplies wastage
  • Ensure that food & service at the restaurant meet Hoja’s standards
  • Actively participate in the hiring process and assist restaurant management with selection of restaurant food servers, kitchen helpers & dishwashers
  • Train food service staff members on the job
  • Assist restaurant management in the preparation of weekly, semi-monthly & monthly restaurant budgets
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the management

Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
