The Senior Network Analyst is a lead technical resource in charge of designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting Caisse Financial Group's network infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure, he or she will be part of a team that is in charge of the Caisse’s entire IT infrastructure. 

Key areas of responsibilities:

  • Configuration, administration and support of the Caisse’s Cisco routing, switching, WLAN and VPN network infrastructure,
    with a focus on proactive improvement of network health–solving issues before they impact applications and services 
  • Configuration, administration and support of wireless microwave links, Cisco VoIP systems, Lync/Skype for Business,
    Palo Alto Firewalls and corporate load balancers 
  • Design, configuration and administration of network management and control systems 
  • Design and development of policies and procedures from industry best practices 
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of UPS systems 
  • Maintain detailed inventory and configuration documentation 
  • Monitor and resolve incident and problem tickets as they relate to network issues
  • Perform application updates, security patches and configuration changes on network hardware, services
    and management tools 
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure implementation of network services and monitoring solutions
    to meet business requirements
  • Work with Cisco and other vendors to resolve network issues in the environment
  • Work with vendors and service providers to produce quotes and statements of work 
  • Coordinate data centre maintenance on power and safety systems 
  • Provide on-call support outside of regular business hours 

Skills & Qualifications

  • College diploma or University degree in the computer/IT field and/or 5 years equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting routing and switching in a complex Cisco based network environment 
  • CCNA or CCNP routing and switching or equivalent experience 
  • Working knowledge of QoS concepts and configuration 
  • Experience administrating and supporting Firewall 
  • Deep understanding of networking and routing protocols 
  • Experience with security control frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
  • Experience implementing and supporting SIEM or log management solutions
  • Excellent ability to show initiative with strong technical, problem-solving and change management skills
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills with commitment to service excellence are essential  
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment 
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have a vehicle for use at work 
  • Ability to communicate in French, written and verbal, would be an asset
