What you will do:

In this role, you will learn how to install, repair, troubleshoot and preform preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment at customer locations in order to become a Service Technician.  You will participate in on-going professional training.  You will be exposed to a variety of equipment, including: holding cabinets, convection ovens, deck ovens, kettles, steamers, mixers, slicers, etc.  Upon successful completion of the training program, you will become a Service Technician and be able to work independently.

What you will bring: 

  • Work with a Service Technician to install, repair and troubleshoot commercial kitchen equipment
  • Perform planned maintenance according to service calendar
  • Work directly with our customers at their various locations 
  • Participate in all on-the-job modules, field training and additional modules as assigned
  • Study the CFESA training models on gas, electrical and steam and successfully complete the exams
  • Gain exposure to the diagnosing process, reading schematic drawings, customer interaction, using our ERP system and communicating with the service team members

What you will have: 

  • Valid Gas Fitter Class B License
  • Experience handling a variety of tools and a mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Experience working in the food service industry is an asset
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with strong problem solving skills and the ability to defuse challenging situations
