Grande Cheese requires an Executive Chef to support 5 retail outlets across the GTA.
Wage: $16.00 per hour
- Plan and direct food prepation and packaging speciality Italian foods and sauces,
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
- Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks.
- Create new recipes and prepare gourmet delicacies for retail and special events.
- Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and speciality functions
- Estimate food requirements and labour costs.
- Maintain high health and safety standards.
- Must have management experience and experienced culinary skills.
- Minimum of 5 years within the food industry
- Cooks trade certification or equvalent credentials, training and experience required.
