CMHC is looking for staff at a variety of its locations, including Ottawa, Regina, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax. One interesting job is a temporary position as a Rental Market Survey Enumerator. There are a variety of locations, with a few in the Ottawa area. Other locations include Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Timmins, and Kingston. The job lasts from April 1, 2008 to April 11, 2008 and involves collecting and recording specific rental market and rent data. Most work is done by phone, but a vehicle is required (in most cases) as follow-ups might be needed to particular locations. You are compensated for mileage on your car. This would be an ideal job for someone looking for sometime temporary and someone who likes communicating with others and isn't afraid to ask for the information that is required.
