The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for a few staff at their Ottawa branch.

They are looking for a Program Manager (Community Support Services) for a 1 year maternity leave contract. They are looking for someone with a Masters degree or equivalent in Social Work (MSW) or a related field and a minimum of 5 years recent clinical work. As well, they are looking for someone with at least 2 years of supervisory experience and you must be bilingual.

They are also looking for a Human Resources Generalist to fill a full-time permanent position. They require a university degree in a relevant area and three to five years of generalist experience and this person must be bilingual.

CMHC is looking for staff at a variety of its locations, including Ottawa, Regina, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax.

One interesting job is a temporary position as a Rental Market Survey Enumerator. There are a variety of locations, with a few in the Ottawa area. Other locations include Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Timmins, and Kingston. The job lasts from April 1, 2008 to April 11, 2008 and involves collecting and recording specific rental market and rent data. Most work is done by phone, but a vehicle is required (in most cases) as follow-ups might be needed to particular locations. You are compensated for mileage on your car.

This would be an ideal job for someone looking for sometime temporary and someone who likes communicating with others and isn't afraid to ask for the information that is required.
