The Government of Yukon is hiring.
They have their jobs separated into three categories. Jobs for current Government of Yukon employees, jobs for Yukon residents and jobs for Canadian residents. Obviously, you choose the category that applies to you and you start looking at what's available.
The category with the most jobs is the one for current Yukon residents. There are over 50 jobs that they are either currently hiring for or have continued on-going requirements. Many of them are in the Department of Health & Social Services. There are a wide variety of jobs, so if you fit the requirement of being a resident, you might want to have a look.
The category with the second most jobs is the jobs available to Canadian residents section. Most of the jobs fall under the Department of Health & Social Services and include registered nurses, nurse practitioners, a speech and language therapist, and an audiologist. There are about 20 jobs in this group.
Finally, the category with the least amount of jobs in it is the one that only Government of Yukon employees can apply to. There are only four jobs in this group, and since there are so few, we can name them all: Territorial Agent Liaison/Data Edit Clerk for Motor Vehicles, Communications Coordinator, Adjudicator II for the Yukon Worker's Compensation Health & Safety Board, and finally, a Corrections Officer I, for the Department of Justice.
