As you may have noticed, we've been increasingly using our social media accounts to keep in touch with you.

Our very popular Twitter account is followed by many job seekers and employers throughout the country. We're sending hand-picked jobs we think you might find interesting, tips, articles and news. Follow us at @canadajobscom

On Facebook, we've been adding some shorter posts that our clients often send us. When something doesn't fit well into our regular job stream, but we feel it has some interest to you, our visitors, we often add the postings there. How can you keep up to date? Jobs at the 2010 Olympics!

Got a flair for the artisitic? Really good at managing people or situations? Sports nut?

Whatever your skill sets are, there's probably a job for you at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games. Positions range from Stage Manager, to General Manager of Transportation Systems, to snow grooming equipment operator. Most positions are in Vancouver but there are also some in Squamish and Whistler.

Here's an exampe of a position they are looking to fill.

In Vancouver, they are looking for a Costume Supervisor to manage the costume department and designs for the opening, victory and closing ceremonies. The list of requirements and the job description is thorough and includes a minimum of 8 years experience and previous experience in large scale theatrical or opera productions or stadium events.

There are also opportunities to volunteer if you're looking for experience to beef up your resume.

If you've got a creative streak, you might want to take a look at working for Henry's. They are a large photography and digital imaging store that is offering jobs in a variety of locations in Ontario.

For example, they are looking for sales associates in their stores in Ottawa, Barrie, Pickering Scarborough and many others.

They also have positions for imaging advisors at several of their stores and a job as a rental consultant in Ottawa.

Their website says they are opening a new store in Winnipeg Manitoba, and there are positions available at that location as well.

Retailer Danier Leather is looking for staff at a variety of locations, including their corporate office located in Toronto.

At their head office location, they are looking for a Leather Inspector, as well as a Customization Coordinator.

They also have a listing of their retail locations that are hiring. In-store positions range from Customer Service to Managers in Training and are available throughout the country.

The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for a few staff at their Ottawa branch.

They are looking for a Program Manager (Community Support Services) for a 1 year maternity leave contract. They are looking for someone with a Masters degree or equivalent in Social Work (MSW) or a related field and a minimum of 5 years recent clinical work. As well, they are looking for someone with at least 2 years of supervisory experience and you must be bilingual.

They are also looking for a Human Resources Generalist to fill a full-time permanent position. They require a university degree in a relevant area and three to five years of generalist experience and this person must be bilingual.

This company, which focuses on providing general contracting and project management services is looking for staff in Western Canada, though there are two positions in Mississauga.

The range of positions is varied, from Commercial and Mechanical Estimators to an Accounts Payable Clerk in Saskatoon, most positions are related to construction.

However, some jobs Such as the Help Desk Team Lead position in Calgary require less of a focus on the construction industry.

There are currently over 70 jobs online, so if this is your field, you're sure to find something interesting. It's worth noting that you can sort the jobs by date posted to get a better idea of the newest jobs as the default search is by job title.

There are a handful of jobs on the City of Brampton website that jobseekers should check out.

Jobs range in type from Parking Enforcement Officer to Manager of Tourism. Among the jobs are also Senior Secretary, Data Management Analyst, and Fleet Maintenance Foreperson.

These jobs were all posted recently, so it's definitely worth a look if you live in the city or are planning to relocate there. Most jobs close near the end of the month.

Lakeridge Health, which is located in the Durham Region east of Toronto, is looking for a variety of staff.

Focus on CMHC

CMHC is looking for staff at a variety of its locations, including Ottawa, Regina, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax.

One interesting job is a temporary position as a Rental Market Survey Enumerator. There are a variety of locations, with a few in the Ottawa area. Other locations include Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Timmins, and Kingston. The job lasts from April 1, 2008 to April 11, 2008 and involves collecting and recording specific rental market and rent data. Most work is done by phone, but a vehicle is required (in most cases) as follow-ups might be needed to particular locations. You are compensated for mileage on your car.

This would be an ideal job for someone looking for sometime temporary and someone who likes communicating with others and isn't afraid to ask for the information that is required.
