Essential Responsibilities / Specific Duties:

  • Develop charts and daily, weekly, monthly reports from DMS and database setup using reporting tools and data analysis
  • Develop and maintain Access DB dashboard
  • Comply with all Plant GMP and Health & Safety rules
  • Ensure Quality standards are met according to Mother Parker's Tea & Coffee specifications
  • Train all employees on MS-AX as well as provide assistance in troubleshooting any AX issues
  • Lead troubleshooting and co-ordinate process gap investigation
  • Prepare training material (i.e. Standard Operating Procedures, One Page Lessons, etc.) for end users.
  • Develop training material and provide training for systems such as DMS and AX
  • Posting and signing off of SOPs in the work area
  • Follow all established safety procedures
  • Support Continuous Improvement Team in projects/tasks
  • Filing of production records and files
  • Manage document control database in SharePoint
  • Ability to navigate DMS, AX, and Powerplant to create reports.
  • Ability to build Access reports in AX
  • Remove electronic and physical documents that are obsolete
  • Verify sanitation documents for all departments
  • Check progress reports in EAM
  • Attend SQF, GMPs and Quality training as required
  • Responsible to report food safety problems and/or quality problems to Managers/Supervisors or person with authority to initiate actions.
  • All other tasks as assigned by Operations Supervisor or QA Manager

Knowledge & Key Competencies:

  • Minimum Post-Secondary education required degree or diploma preferred
  • Must have experience in developing and maintaining document control systems
  • Demonstrated ability to understand DMS, AX and Powerplant
  • Competent to write SOPs and conduct employee training
  • Previous experience in data control and technical writing, minimum 2 year experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain Access Database
  • Ability to develop training materials and train others
  • Attention to detail is critical and keen analytical skills
  • Ability to develop SQL tables
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, and MS Access is required
  • Have troubleshooting and investigation skills
  • Must be able to work independently to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Motivated team player with regular interaction with the lead hands for reporting
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with shift supervisors and other departments
  • Capable of reading and understanding technical information
  • Sensory attention required (sight and hearing)
  • Must have a demonstrated history of safe work habits and adhere to all company safety policies
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Must be flexible to work rotating shifts as required
  • Basic knowledge of Visual Basic is preferred
  • Experience with SQF and ISO is preferred
  • Must be able to assist with overtime
  • Must be certified Train the Trainer
