We are are looking for a Renovations Project Manager to manage the organization and supervision of renovation projects that we currently have and would like to pursue in the future.

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: 40/weekly

Wage: Salary of $50-60,000/year dependent on experience

Additional Notes: company vehicle provided to cover travel to and from job sites/office with gas covered

Renovations project manager responsibilities include delivering all renovations projects on time within budget and scope. Candidates should have a minimum basic background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. A successful candidate will also have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction and renovations field or related. Additionally, candidates should have some experience with management and supervision of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with vendors and sub-contractors supplying resources to ensure projects are executed in a timely and flawless manner
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within set scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and check-in on workers on site
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Allocate resources and funds in an appropriate manner
  • Evaluate renovations projects to manage changes in scope, schedule and costs in a timely manner
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management evaluation to minimize any project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and sub-contractors as well as clients for repeat business projects
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout project duration
  • Keep all stakeholders involved and satisfied during the life of the project

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a manager or supervisor of a team of individuals in the construction and renovation industry or related field
  • Solid background knowledge and hands-on experience in renovations and construction or a related field
  • Excellent client and internal communication skills
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with giving direction to employees
  • Experience dealing with difficult clients, vendors, sub-contractors and employees
  • Hands-on, team focused, positive can-do attitude
