Web UI Developer
The candidate will work with various development teams to design and build the user interface aspects of TTC' product offerings, in an agile software development environment Responsibilities:
Work closely with other team members and business analysts to build storyboards, proof of concept and prototypes of planned TTC applications.
Work with development teams to implement user interface in TTC products.
Participate in analyzing use cases with business analysts.
Conducts design and code reviews with other developers to ensure UI standards and design standards are met.
Work closely with Product Management, business analysts to validate UI designs with TTC customers.
Acquire and maintain a strong understanding of the TTC products and how we can best leverage new technologies.
Work with developers to finalize UI aspects of all TTC products.
Conducts ongoing usability testing and assessment
Qualifications and/or Skills:
Experience in human factors, HCI, information design, industrial design, or related area
Strong knowledge of site design and usability principles, issues, and techniques
Solid understanding of Web-based applications from a UI perspective with experience in C#, Asp.Net, CSS, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript and AJAX.
Demonstrates expert knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably C#
Understands browser specific compatibility issues
A solid understanding of security concepts and strategies and how they relate to Web UI's.
Familiarity with Photoshop or other tools to do UI mock-ups
Understands various design methodologies, object oriented or model driven design
Understanding of web development frameworks like MVC
Understands database design concepts as well as the implications of different database designs.
Excellent communication skills, Delivers informative, well-organized presentations
Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent problem solving skills, highly motivated and adaptable.
Facilitates effective team interaction, strong team player
Education and/or Experience:
BS in Computer Science or related field.
At least 3+ years of experience in designing and building UI for high performance web based applications.
At least 2 years experience with ASP.net and C#
Experience in integration with social networks is nice to have
Experience with agile processes is a definite plus
