Operations Manager

Future Shop is looking for Operations Managers with strong management experience in large retail environments. We are Canada's fastest-growing specialty retailer of consumer electronics, personal computers and entertainment software. Your Responsibilities will include:
Oversees all aspects of store operations while manager on duty including ensuring store is staffed appropriately, overseeing customer service and processing areas and working with management and supervisors to provide clear, concise communication to store employees on operational policy/procedures.
Oversees store compliance with standard operation policy and procedures.
Provides follow-up to the functionality/execution and proper use of store point of sale equipment
Provides direct supervision (i.e. assists with decisions regarding hiring/termination, provides orientation, training, work direction and discipline, conducts performance reviews and makes pay recommendations) for operations employees
Operations Manager Qualities
If you have all the qualities below you could be a great fit for our management team!
Diploma or Degree in Retail, Business Management or related.
2 to 3 years of retail supervisory and/or management experience.
4 or more years experience in a big box retail environment.
Experience leading and inspiring a team of 2 or more people.
Strong experience in hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
Consistently offer exceptional customer service and always demonstrate that the customer is #1.
Excellent business acumen
