ATIP Investigator: Senior-level

Action Personnel is actively recruiting for multiple ATIP Investigators at the Senior-level. Our Federal Government client is currently undertaking a large-scale project that will require multiple ATIP Investigators throughout the year. This opportunity will appeal to those who enjoy having a high level of responsibility and thrive in a challenging and demanding work environment. This is a temporary contract opportunity to work with an organization whose mandate is to protect the privacy rights of all Canadians.

In order to qualify for this opportunity, you must possess:
 Secret security clearance
 Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both official languages
 At least 5 years experience at the supervisory level related to ATIP requests and investigations
 Thorough understanding of the Privacy Act and PIPEDA
 Proven abilities in report writing, analysis and providing recommendations to executive staff
 Excellent abilities to multi-task and meet project deadlines
 Outstanding attention-to-detail

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
 Conducting investigations on privacy complaints
 Conducting research as complaints relate to various privacy acts
 Providing solutions and recommendations to all parties involved
 Negotiating agreements and settlements with all affected parties
 Producing status reports
 Delivering ATIP training to other team members
