They are headquartered in Amherst Nova Scotia and have and their sales and service office in Mississauga, Ontario.

Currently, they are looking for Engineers and Technicians. To qualify, engineers need B. ENG in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical and technicians require a diploma in the same fields. Kraft Canada is hiring for a variety of positions, about 18 positions actually, across their divisions and departments.

They are looking for all sorts of people, like a Shoppers' Insight Manager, Space Management Specialist, Human Resources Manager, Foodservice Sales Representatives and more. The locations vary, for example, there are two positions for the Foodservice Sales Reps, one in Calgary and one in Toronto.

You heard me right. This information technolgy company which creates mobile communications and wireless solutions has over 400 jobs online - an astounding amount.

Want an idea of what they are looking for?

Since they are a high tech company, many of their jobs involve creating or distributing technologically advanced products.

One such job is the Embedded Systems Software Developer position. They are looking for Extensive C programming experience and two to five years of full-time, non-co-op work experience.

Several other examples of IT-based job titles are BlackBerry Operations Administrator, Data Centre Technician, Wireless Application Consultant, and Engineering Support Specialist.

I know what you're thinking. Not a lot of jobs in the automotive industry lately. But not so at Toyota. Currently, Toyota has 25 jobs on their website. Most jobs, except one in Woodstock, ON are based in Cambridge, ON.

Most positions are engineering-related, but there are also some for technicians, human resources, and information technology as well.

One of the human resources position titles is a Manager-Training and Development. Toyota is looking for someone with 5-7 years experience in a human resources, training or organizational development role. They are also looking for proven project management skills and some other requirements as well.

On the technical side, they are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician. You must possess an Ontario or Interprovincial Electrician's Certificate and a Technicians certificate is preferred. The job involves performing maintenance on the mechanical and electrical systems and a lot more.

Did you know that there are a wide variety of jobs at Kodak? From Industrial Engineer to Project Manager in Manufacturing to Software Developer to Tax Manager, there are a lot of choices in a variety of fields.

The only thing is that ALL the jobs currently on their site, are in Vancouver. Good if you live there or are planning a move, bad if you don't want to live there.

An interesting thing to note is that, in addition to listing the job titles and description, they also tell you what career stage the position is. For example, the Industrial Engineer position would apply to someone who is in an early career phase; with a minimum of 2 years experience, but less that 6 years. That's a great way to gauge the level of experience, skill, and responsibility a job entails.

Good news for those of you in the Information Technology sector. Industry giant Nortel is once again hiring.

Currently, on their website, they have 111 Canadian positions. Many of those are located in Ottawa, but there is a good selection of jobs throughout the country. There are jobs available in the greater Toronto area, Belleville, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal.

They divide their job pool into three categories: Experienced Professionals, Student & Graduate, and Alumni.

Most jobs in the experienced professionals section are for application developers, support engineers, and software designers in program platforms designed or supported by Nortel.
